Van Winkle Elementary hosted its annual Career Day and Fall Festival on Friday, November 6th. The events were originally scheduled for Friday, October 30, but were postponed due to bad weather. We gladly took a break from our classrooms and enjoyed the fun, games, and beautiful fall weather that Friday offered!
There were four different space jumps for us to enjoy!
Ri'chard, D'Aviance, MacKenzie, and T'Marcio taking a break while inside one of the space jumps.
Marquavius pausing for a picture on top of the inflatable slide.
M.C., Mrs. Dantin, and Micheal stopping for a picture before sliding down the inflatable slide.
Kadarius showing off his best basketball skills.
Shemar shoots ... he scores!
Alantis keeping her eyes on the basket.
D'Aviance counting the correct number of tickets in order to play in the space jump.
Mrs. Hughes, MacKenzie's mom and our room mom, teaching some of us a fun game.
Armon, Micheal, M.C., Shemar, and D'Aviance pausing to eat some of the delicious treats that were available at the concession stands.
We work so hard every day at school. It was nice to enjoy a fun-filled day outside with our friends and community. Now, we are refreshed and eager to continue working so hard to be our best! Thank you for everyone who made Van Winkle's Career Day and Fall Festival a success!
